In 1964, a group of families, who wished to give their children a formation in Catholic values, together with a high academic level, encouraged by the founder of Opus Dei, Saint Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer, founded the Los Cerros Gymnasium. They invited parents who shared the same ideal for their children to participate in this project.
In these 55 years, our graduates and students have excelled in different professional areas, academic, cultural and sports meetings, national and international, obtaining countless awards and recognitions, among them, the participations in the Model United Nations simulations, held at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and New York, in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. There, our school has been awarded twice as the best Delegation in Foreign Language.
Currently, the school has more than 2,270 graduates from 50 graduating classes.
To commemorate this important date, last September 9, the school offered a special lunch to the entire educational community.
Thanks to all parents, graduates, directors, teachers and other employees for being part of this great Cerros family!
