With a perfect score, a united house and an outstanding leader, Casa Aire stood out with an advantage over their rivals, taking the title of Champion of the first online edition of the traditional contest of the Gimnasio de Los Cerros.
There were five weeks of competition in which our Cerrunos warriors met traditional challenges such as the ventiunita, balancing on a stick and face painting, but also encountered challenges never seen before such as licuabásquet, monedirrana or flippapper.
"The Battle of the Houses experience meant a lot to me. It was a challenge of self-improvement and commitment. It was not just me, but the house, the school, the community, the family we chose," said Mario Lopez, captain of Casa Aire, after winning the title.

Although the Air House won the trophy, Earth, Water and Fire put up a good fight, taking second, third and fourth place, respectively. For his part, Jairo Betancourt, captain of the runner-up house, said the following at the end of the competition: "the idea of contributing to the students having a greater sense of belonging and loving the school as I do fills me with hope".
Finally, the words on which all participants agreed were those of López, who confidently affirmed that "not even a pandemic was too big for us".
For his part, Camilo Restrepo, coordinator of Pirineos (the school's experiential learning area) and organizer of the virtual Battle of the Houses, thanked everyone for their participation and passionately stated that "we have never been a passive community and that is not what we teach our students, so a situation like this, far from scaring us, gave us the courage to find different solutions to different situations".[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container][/fusion_builder_container].
