At our last Monday Dads meeting at the Los Cerros Gymnasium, we shared an afternoon of music that was a different and enriching experience.
Our guests were Eduardo Hernández and Jorge Molano, who talked to us about their experience creating the musical band The Bangers and how they managed to articulate it with their family life.

Our graduating class of 2023 received the Diploma awarded by the International Baccalaureate (IB) based in Geneva, Switzerland, in a special ceremony held on September 8 at our school.
The IB Diploma program gives our students the skills to excel in the university and work world.

During the last week of August we had the visit of the board of directors of the Colegio Rioclaro Barquisimeto in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. It was a pleasant space for interaction where both students and teachers of Gimnasio de Los Cerros were able to participate in discussions and lectures given by our guests.
This was an opportunity to exchange experiences and share views on educational challenges and also to strengthen ties between the two institutions.

For 59 years, Gimnasio de Los Cerros has been teaming up with parents in the mission of educating free, responsible, happy children committed to serving others.
We thank all those who have been part of this exciting work, from our founders to the current generations of teachers, families and students.

We celebrate the generous donation of Asopadres, who have provided the school with an arduino kit to promote STEM education. This contribution highlights their commitment to the technological development of our students.
In addition, we are excited to present our lab kits at the show, bringing the scientific experience to the very young. These hands-on resources will cultivate curiosity and interactive learning, forming creative and scientific minds from an early age.
We thank Asopadres for their contribution and applaud these steps towards an enriching and diversified education at Gimnasio de Los Cerros.
On August 12, a group of new families began the experience of participating in the Diploma in Family Development and Sustainability, offered by the Family Institute of the Universidad de La Sabana.
We applaud their commitment and are confident that this experience will enrich not only their lives, but also our educational community at Los Cerros Gymnasium.
