Juan Felipe, started riding at the age of three, in the modality of Vaulting (Gymnastics on horseback), with the purpose of acquiring more confidence and balance. At the age of five, she began her training process in this sport; from that moment on, she has participated in the different "Semilleros" tests between 2014 and 2015, years in which she managed to occupy the first place in the jumping modality. He then embarked on his career as a professional in Equitation, registering his name on the Colombian Equestrian Federation in show jumping, and represents the Military Equestrian League, Pre-Infantil category. During these last two years, he has remained among the best; he is currently in first place nationally.

At this moment, Juan Felipe is participating in the National Competition of the Guaymaral Club, which takes place from August 31 to September 3. He will then compete in the International Competition of the same Club, from September 4 to 10. This important event will be attended by riders from countries such as Holland, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, England, among others.

In November, he will participate in the Club Campestre de Cali and will be the Colombian on whom all eyes will be focused to be crowned champion of the contest.

"Academically, Juan also stands out, despite the arduous training he has from Tuesday to Sunday, fully complying with his academic, sports and cultural responsibilities required by the school. We hope, with God's help, that our son continues to reap more triumphs since he has put all his dedication, determination and discipline in this sport that he practices at the Army Riding School. The next goal for 2018 is to compete in Wellington, USA. We thank the school, its directors and teachers for the enormous unconditional support they have given our son," emphasized Juan Felipe's parents.
