The Diploma in Family is taught by professors of the Family Institute of the Universidad de La Sabana. The objective is to contribute to the construction of healthy, strong and solid families that facilitate the education of children and the realization of the family project.
The Diploma in Family Studies lasts 120 hours and the sessions are held at the General Library. "Gabriel Carreño Mallarino"The program is open on Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On Saturdays, free childcare is provided for children.
The program begins the parents' training plan; therefore, it is recommended that parents take it during their first year at school. It is a substantial tool to prepare them to build a happy family and, most importantly, to educate their children in a challenging 21st century. It also helps to consolidate one of the institutional educational principles "Family-school engagement".
The graduation ceremony was held on June 2. There, more than 40 families received the diploma that accredits them as a solidly united family prepared to form their children through the exercise of virtues and values.
