Our teacher Julian Santos at the Doctoral Seminar: Educational Experiences of the Los Cerros Gymnasium.

In the framework of the doctoral project in mathematics education, which I am carrying out at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas since 2019, I was invited to participate from October 23 to December 1, 2023 in the doctoral seminar in "activité et connaissance" at the Clermont Auvergne University, in the facilities of the ACTé laboratory, in the city of Clermont-Ferrand, France.

At the same time I met with Dr. Claire Margolinas, a prestigious researcher in didactics of mathematics, attached to the Clermont Auvergne University, with whom I carried out the epistemological and methodological reflection of the theoretical ideas that I intend to share with the community of mathematics educators in the world in the coming years.

In the seminar, in which I participated as a student and speaker, I presented two experiences that I have designed and implemented with some pre- and eighth grade students of our school during the last years: CONCEPTION POUR LA CONSTRUCTION DU THÉORÈME DE PYTHAGORE, BASÉE SUR LE "THÉORÈME DES DIAGONALES", which was published in the geometry journal of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional last year; GÉNÉRER DES COMPRÉHENSIONS DE L'OBJET GÉOMÉTRIQUE: PARABOLE, À TRAVERS L'UTILISATION DU LOGICIEL CARMETAL, which was published in 2015 at the International Mathematics Education Conference by the Universidad de la Sabana.

In addition, I presented a theoretical reflection article: RÉCUPÉRER LA THÉORIE DES SITUATIONS DIDACTIQUES: UN PARADIGME DE RECHERCHE ACTUEL DANS LA DIDACTIQUE DES MATHÉMATIQUES, published in the journal Bolema last year, perhaps the most important journal of mathematics education in Latin America.

I thank my educational institution, Gimnasio de los Cerros, for its great help and support during all the years that I have been growing personally and academically in this great family. Thank you very much.
