Gimnasio de Los Cerros - Our experiential learning coordination, Pirineos, is moving forward with the 2023 expedition and trekking program.
On this occasion, the 9th grade students began their journey along the trail located in the Santa Ana la Aguadora Reserve until they reached the viewpoint. Then they made a detour to take the "Camino del Indio" that runs along the San Rafael Reservoir to the town of La Calera. On the way we took the opportunity to reinforce concepts around water resources, impact minimization in an open field trip and páramo and sub páramo ecosystems.
It's amazing that this adventure can be done on foot from our school!
