Santiago Montes Solarte, from class 8B, has just been crowned champion in the National Table Tennis Championship that took place in the city of Bogota, at the Coliseo El Salitre. There, he was crowned champion in the individual category under 15, and champion in doubles category under 18.
With these two victories, Santiago becomes the #1 racket of the Colombian Table Tennis, U15 category.
It should be noted that he is an integral student, with ethical and moral values, and an impeccable sportsmanship, leaving not only the name of Gimnasio de Los Cerros high in the different competitions at school level, but at national and international level, obtaining important titles, becoming one of the best representatives of this sport.
